Welcome to the best place to buy polka dot gifts!  I'm Sally and I work with my husband John in this wonderful polka dot adventure.  We are always searching for new and exciting polka dot gift ideas and collections to bring to you.

We founded Polka Dot Market in 2004 after the birth of our first daughter in Farmington Hills, Michigan (Metro Detroit).  We moved our family and the business to Nashville, Tennessee in 2006 (one month before our second daughter was born).

I went to high school in Midland, Michigan and college in Charlotte, North Carolina.  I am a former 4th grade teacher and events coordinator for the March of Dimes.  I am the oldest of five sisters and my dad is a Presbyterian minister.  Now I have two girls of my own and don't know how my mom did it with FIVE!

I love my business, my customers and my craft.  I do sew almost every item myself, though friends and family think I am nuts!  I appreciate your ideas and feedback so much - we want you and your kids to love our polka dot products.

Our two girls are age 4 and age 20 months.  They are funny, loud, silly, stubborn, creative, dramatic and wild!  They love to scream and ask me questions as soon as I start talking to a customer on the phone.  Can you relate to this?

The oldest sneaks into "Mommy's Workshop" and grabs fabric scraps, pencils, shipping labels, printer paper and her scissors while exclaiming, "I have work to do!"
